Following in the footsteps of his famous Uncle William Slaughter (bluebonnet artist), Mark said he figured, “If I’m going to paint I might as well paint bluebonnets too!” And… tigers, cougars, barns and so much more! Such details and sometimes on such small canvas! Mark will confound as his philosophy is to make art from whatever is at hand. He’s been known to use bedsheets for canvas and cardboard for frames – which all becomes a masterpiece within his hands. Better collect his works before they become more valuable than Uncle William’s!
